Creative & Maker Spaces
The Library is your place to get creative! There is no charge for access to or use of Maker Space technology. Consumable materials, except for large format printer paper, are available free of charge in limited quantities. Printer paper for the large format printer costs $0.15 per foot of black and white, and $0.25 per foot of colour.
You are welcome to bring your own materials for use with the following equipment, please verify compatibility with staff before use:
- button makers,
- Cricut,
- vinyl cutter,
- Glowforge.
At this time patrons are unable to bring their own filament for use with the 3D printers; there is no charge for using provided filament.

Glencoe Music Space
This studio space is available for community use: record that podcast or song you’ve been working on, practice an instrument, or just jam with your friends.
The Music Space is equipped with:
- an electric guitar
- electric drum kit
- digital piano
- studio microphone
- an iMac with a suite of recording software
The Music Space is bookable for up to two hours at a time. Contact the Glencoe Library at 519-287-2735 for more information or to book.

3D Printing at the Library
3D printing is available free of charge at the Dorchester and Glencoe Libraries! Both libraries have a Prusa Core One+.
Things to know:
- Only the filament currently installed in the printer can be used. Patrons are not able to supply their own filament.
- Time on the 3D printers is available on a first come, first served basis.
- Staff reserve the right to limit print jobs to ensure access for as many patrons as possible.
