Inforamtion on Summer 2026 coming soon!
Summer at the Library features both reading motivation programs with prize draws for all ages, and engaging events and activities to inspire learning and creativity all summer long!
Registration for all reading programs begins Friday, June 26. Registration for events may begin sooner; check with your local branch for details.
Visit any Middlesex County Library to get started with one of our four summer reading programs. These programs motivate you to read all summer long: the more you read, the more chances you’ll have to win! While there are suggested age ranges for each program, staff will work with you to determine which program will be the best fit.
The last day of all Summer at the Library reading programs is Saturday, August 15. This is the last day to submit booklets or reading logs to receive prize draw ballots for all four programs.
Middlesex County Library will be offering a variety of activities and events throughout the summer. Some events maybe drop-in, others will require advanced registration. Ask for details at your local branch, or visit our online event calendar to learn more.
Do you have children ages 0-6? The summer is the perfect time to check out Middlesex EarlyON! Middlesex EarlyON programs are free for caregivers and children from birth to six-years-old and are open to all families that reside in Middlesex County. For more information visit their website, and check our online event calendar.
Enjoy the outdoors this summer by stopping by one of our eight Tales & Trails sites! Tales & Trails sites feature either picture books or community stories to enjoy as you walk the trail. Visit the Tales & Trails page to find a location near you.
